The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience, RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Registered Nurse for our Operating Room at the Morris Cancer Center on the New Brunswick campus, Position Summary: The OR Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in the surgical setting, working collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals, This role requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to improving surgical outcomes for oncology patients, Schedule: 40 Hours per week, evening shift 11:00a-7:30p, Weekends, Holidays, and on-call requirements as assigned Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain a sterile environment in the operating room, Assess, plan, and implement patient care before, during, and after surgery, Assist surgical teams by providing necessary instruments and supplies, Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care, Adhere to hospital policies and best practices in perioperative nursing, Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records, Qualifications: Current RN license in the state of New Jersey, Minimum of 1 year OR experience and graduate from Periop101 program CNOR certification preferred but not required, BLS and ACLS certification required, Strong communication and organizational skills, Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure surgical environment At RWJBarnabas Health, our market-competitive Total Rewards package provides comprehensive benefits and resources to support our employees physical, emotional, social, and financial health.
