Requisition ID req33993 Working Title Medical Education Prog Coord Position Grade 10 Position Summary The UNM Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking applications to fill a full time Medical Education Program Coordinator position that supports our Complex Family Planning Fellowship. The Complex Family Planning Fellowship is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and is a two-year fellowship for Ob-Gyn residency graduates focused on subspecialist training in research, teaching, and clinical practice in complex abortion and contraception. Underneath the umbrella of the Society for Family Planning, the fellowship trains physician providers and advances a mission and vision of just, equitable, and science-informed abortion and contraception care. Under general supervision, this position coordinates the administrative aspects of the OBGYN CFP fellowship program and other programs, as assigned. Coordinates the recruitment, intake, and provision of administrative services to residents; oversees the scheduling of clinical rotations and provides associated support services to faculty. Duties typically include program implementation and administration, internal and external operational /administrative liaison, program marketing, and reporting. This position also functions as the Grand Rounds coordinator. As such, in-person work is required on Fridays beginning at 7am. Conditions of Employment Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
