ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Assist engineers with record updates.
  • Develop detailed drawings for engineering projects using CADD software from engineering field sketches and instruction.
  • Review and revise drawings to meet drafting standards.
  • Assist engineers with AutoCAD technical issues such as scaling, viewports, title blocks, TIF image importing, etc.
  • Perform Autodesk Vault administration duties such as uploading drawings, entering/updating metadata, creating *.pdf from *.dwg files, and troubleshooting.
  • The ability to collaborate and work well with others is an essential function of this position.
  • The ability to handle stress and work well with others are essential functions of this position.
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
  • Due to our obligation to provide continuous, reliable electric service to our customers, the ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance and the ability to work outside your regularly scheduled office hours when necessary is an essential function of the job.

Minimum Qualifications



  • High school diploma or GED.
  • CAD software experience



REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS



  • Valid Driver's license



PREFERRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS



  • Enrolled in a drafting, engineering technology, or engineering program.
  • AutoCAD certification
