Position Title: Production Technician
Wage: $18.10/hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 3pm-11pm QPS Employment Group is hiring a Production Technician for a company in Delavan, WI. This is an associate to hire role. Production Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Perform various tasks to set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot, clean, and complete preventive maintenance on assigned machines - Set up and operate single or multiple production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops - Check machine output and identify any issues - Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications - Inspect parts to specifications and make adjustments or tool changes as necessary to maintain quality specifications - Read and interpret equipment manuals and production orders to perform required tasks - Perform necessary tasks to verify manufacturing requirements against production orders - Check for accuracy, shortages, and damaged material - Detect and report defective material against product specifications - Pull and deliver materials and supplies to designated areas - Maintain records of material and supply movement - Deliver raw materials to the machines, as needed, and lead or assist in the set-up of raw materials in the manufacturing machines - Perform material handling and sit-down forklift operation upon request Production Technician Requirements: - 6 months of machine operating experience - At least 6 months of forklift operating experience in an industrial setting - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, setting priorities and managing time effectively - Ability to work independently, managing job orders and deadlines while maintaining an awareness of other business dependencies, when completing assigned duties QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
