We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to support our Humanitarian Services Project Management Office. Location: This position is fully remote and eligible for work anywhere in the United States. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification required (Re/Certification within 6 months of hiring acceptable). WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (Job Overview): The Senior Project Manager supports the Humanitarian Services (HS) Project Management Office (PMO) and manages complex, medium-sized projects with moderate resource requirements and risk initiated at the senior management level. Will be expected to guide project team and senior leadership through all phases including concept, development, implementation, and closeout. Under minimal guidance, the Senior Project Manager ensures that the project plan, scope, work breakdown structure, schedule, risk, budget, and deliverables are in alignment with the project goal and objectives as defined by the project statement of work. Provide support, development and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers. Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with standard operating procedures and other applicable Federal, State and local regulations. This position reports to and works to perform these functions according to the direction provided by the Director, Strategic Planning, who also provides personnel development. *Combination of candidate's education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to description's minimum education and general experience years combined (Certification cannot be substituted). The salary range for this position is $98,700-$105,280. This job will be posted for a minimum of five business days and extended if the applicant pool needs to be expanded. Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. Physical Requirements Physical requirements are those present in normal office environment conditions. Operational flexibility is required to meet sudden and unpredictable needs. Ability to use a personal computer, applicable software, and office equipment for sustained periods of time. May include sitting for long periods of time, driving a vehicle, and working under challenging conditions.
