Job Overview:

Coordinates and oversees the Electronic Birth Certificate Process at Community Medical Center, along with scheduling all Prepared Childbirth Education Programs

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School diploma and/or secretarial / business education.
• Demonstrates expertise in typing / word processing
• Must possess strong organizational and communication skills grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure
• Knowledge of computer skill including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel and Outlook,

Scheduling Requirements:

• Day Shift
• Rotating weekends and holidays
• Part-Time

Essential Functions:

• Collects data on each delivery record and confirms all information downloaded into the EBC is correct
• Compiles information required for the NJDOH Newborn Hearing Audits
• Confirm with Conference room coordinator equipment needed for each particular class,
• Daily collect each delivery record and pull up to check that all information downloaded into the EBC is correct,
• Guide perspective clients through our unit or register into a general tour of the unit,
• Maintains log of all Maternal Transports and the justification of transport, including the date of transport, patient name, medical record, gestation, MD, Diagnosis, & receiving hospital
• Maintains log of all Neonatal Transports including justification of transport, delivery date, mom s medical record, baby s medical record, MD, Diagnosis, gestation, and receiving hospital
• Monthly provide to payroll schedule of classes for educator payroll
• Preparation of educational materials and supplies for the education room
