Balazs Nanoanalysis is a contract analytical laboratory owned by Air Liquide Electronics is world-wide leader in supplying gases, specialty chemicals and services to a wide variety of industries. Balazs Nanoanalysis operates analytical labs around the world serving both internal and external clients. We support clients in a wide array of industries including semiconductor, biotechnology, aerospace/defense industry, solar, energy storage, automotive and many others. Our highly-skilled chemists assist other scientists and engineers from companies in these fields to support a wide array of activities such as quality assurance, contamination studies, R&D and failure analysis.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Supervisor role that will directly supervisor the daily operations of the Customer Service and Shipping teams in Fremont, CA

Responsibilities

  • Ensure there is always a SAFETY FIRST culture

  • Supervise daily operations of both Customer Service Team and Shipping Team

  • Ensure personnel of both Customer Service and Shipping Team are properly trained

  • Participate in industry professional societies and trade organizations to enhance networking and knowledge of the industry

  • Continuously improve processes on a regular basis, where needed

  • Set and drive key performance indicators for both Customer Service and Shipping

  • Customer Service Team

  • Responsible for customer satisfaction through driving customer surveys and other measurement tools

  • Ensure Customer Service team supports the Sales Team and overall Balazs Sales funnel - not limited to RFQs, Quotes, Customer follow up, and customer support

  • Work with sales team to ensure responses to customers are done in a timely manner

  • Ensure invoicing is completed correctly and in a timely manner

  • Work with sales team to provide follow up on customer complaints and invoice disputes as needed

  • Shipping and Receiving Team

  • Ensure team has coverage of shipping area during business hours - Monday through Friday

  • Ensure shipments are processed in a timely manner and samples are taken immediately to the proper laboratory

  • Ensure outgoing shipments are ship properly and in a timely manner

  • Ensure record keeping of shipments and samples is properly kept

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • Experience in a customer service related job, preferred

  • Experience in a leadership or supervisory role

  • Knowledge of Air Liquide's products and Balazs' analytical services is preferred

  • Knowledge of LIMS, Oracle applications with extensive understanding of CORISPlus & familiarity of accounts receivable & inventory modules is preferred

  • Strong planning, communication and problem solving skills needed

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to perform multiple tasks in an efficient manner

  • Flexible and innovative in terms of developing new value added solutions for customer needs

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to work seamlessly out of and within the Air Liquide organization

  • Ability to be a team player, and work in a cross functional, fast paced customer focused, team environment

  • Minimum 4 days a week on-site presence

The Salary rate range for this position in California is $120,000.00 to $130,000.00
