WTTG/WDCA - Administrative Coordinator (Regular Full-Time)

Our newsroom provides comprehensive coverage of local and national news stories across multiple platforms such as broadcast, digital, and web. This position provides administrative support to the Station's leadership team and assists with the maintenance of daily office tasks. Candidates must be computer savvy and resourceful in navigating systems and devices. We are looking for individuals who are known for their professionalism, versatility, and positive attitude.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide assistance to station personnel and department heads.

  • Support general office operations, including answering phone calls, travel arrangements, expense reports, ticket admin, visitors/guests, station memos, mail, calendars, schedule meetings, general housekeeping, etc.

  • Manage vendor setup, invoicing, and admin requests in the station Coupa and Graphite Connect systems.

  • Electronic and manual preparation of invoices, expenses, purchase orders, deposits, and check requests.

  • Order, track, and inventory office supplies and assist with vendors.

  • Assist with station and community events.

  • Lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs. in weight on a regular basis.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU ARE BRINGING:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.

  • Experience working in an administrative role in an office setting supporting management/executive staff. Experience in the broadcast/media industry a plus.

  • Ability to plan and organize work, take initiative, and determine work priorities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with high professionalism.

  • Good judgment and confidentiality.

  • Proficiency in software applications ( Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Word) and online communication tools.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $32.50-33.15 per hour. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
