Job Summary TEKsystems is seeking a customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to join our team onsite at a manufacturing facility in Wright City, MO. This role is ideal for a hands-on IT professional who enjoys a mix of device configuration and end-user support in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment. DKey Responsibilities * Configure and deploy devices using Microsoft Intune and AutoPilot. * Serve as the primary IT point of contact at the plant, with backup support available. * Provide desk-side support to end users, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues. * Respond to and manage support tickets via phone, email, and in-person interactions. * Escalate complex issues through warm handoffs to appropriate teams. * Maintain and support desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and scanners. * Ensure systems are patched, monitored, and documented according to IT standards. * Participate in testing and feedback for new technologies and tools. * Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles. * Travel to local and remote sites (~25%) for support and quarterly all-hands meetings. Workload Breakdown * 60% - Device configuration and deployment * 40% - End-user support and troubleshooting Qualifications * 2-5 years of hands-on IT support experience. * Experience with Intune, AutoPilot, and Windows device management. * Strong customer service and communication skills. * Comfortable working on the manufacturing floor and adapting to dynamic environments. * Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently. * Associate's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation) are a plus. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
