ROLE

PURPOSE

  • Ensure provision of materials for all planned and breakdown maintenance work, based on inventory strategy and historic demand
  • Ensure receiving, inspection and storing goods with accurate records of stock levels, receipts and withdrawals.
  • Ensure the preservation and safe storage of all inventories.
  • Ensure labeling and organizing inventory for easy access and traceability
  • Optimize cost of inventory through reduction in waste. Control inventory accuracy and stock turn KPIs

Ensure all HSSE requirements are met for storage and quality of materials and safety of personnel within the warehouse facilities.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

HEALTH SAFETY & ENVIRONMENTAL

  • Support daily safety management system within local/ archetype terminal warehouses
  • Undertake regular safety walks and warehouse inspections
  • Promote a safe workplace for all warehouse related operations

PERFORMANCE/OPERATIONAL

  • Support best practice in warehousing operations by applying the right knowledge for the Warehouse facilities
  • Verify cycle counts & inventory accuracy and track parts issued out for work task. Support in min/max and reorder points and establish global part numbers and management of E-Catalogue.
  • Control goods receipts and location updates
  • Monitor local Warehouse and Inventory statistics and KPIs, and identify potential improvements to warehouse management, supporting the achievement of operational production/ throughput targets
  • Work collaboratively with the planning team and other terminal staff to ensure that the availability of materials is always sustained, to match the overall schedule of maintenance for the terminal
  • Organize and support stock control checks in accordance with global warehousing standards. Control and conduct physical counts and report discrepancy ensuring compliance with inventory audits and assist with disposal of obsolete item

STRATEGY

  • Support the implementation of the Warehousing and Inventory management standard

ASSET INTEGRITY

  • Apply and sustain the criticality, preservation and obsolescence standards for spare parts, materials and equipment held with the Stores inventory management

RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

  • Monitor and optimize stock levels and minimum re-order quantities to ensure that critical spares are available on a just-in-time basis, and that costs for depreciation and storage of spares are kept to a minimum

PEOPLE/COMMUNICATIONS

  • Engage with Storekeepers, Equipment Managers and terminal warehouse manager to support
  • Participate and contribute to the APMT network for Warehousing and Inventory management community
  • Ensure compliance with APMT Group values and business principles

COST MANAGEMENT

  • Implement and fully utilise accurate spare parts costing standards and reports
  • Measure spare parts costs and drive optimization of the local inventory management processes

CRITICAL QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Academic qualification appropriate to the role in the terminal / archetype locality
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in an operational asset maintenance or inventory management related environment
  • Practical, analytical mindset
  • Understanding of asset maintenance principles, its processes and requirements and relationship to the supply chain
  • Structured, driven, self-motivating and result orientated
  • Highly disciplined - following through on actions and ensuring necessary documentation
  • High quality awareness and ability to work with constant care
  • Sensitive to cultural diversity and experience in a multicultural environment, with respect to employees, local authorities and other stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence
  • Excellent written English and verbal communication

Job Type: Full Time

Salary: USD 110,000.00- USD 130,000.00

Benefits: Full time employees are eligible For Health Insurance, Paid Time Off, and 401k match

The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for this position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws
