Position Purpose |
The Director of Infrastructure and Software Engineering at Tuck School of Business provides strategic leadership to advance the school's technology infrastructure and software solutions. Leading a multidisciplinary team, this role focuses on delivering technology services that effectively support Tuck's academic mission and administrative operations. Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities |
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 3-5 years of experience leading teams in IT infrastructure or software engineering, guiding technical projects, and promoting team development.
- 5-10 years of hands-on experience as a software developer, systems administrator, devops or equivalent.
- Demonstrated progression in leadership roles with practical team management responsibilities.
- Deep understanding of technology architectures and their application in a higher education or similarly structured environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and clear communication skills.
- Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, PMP certification) and the ability to lead complex initiatives.
- Familiarity with relevant technologies such as cloud platforms, containerization, virtualization, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Proven strategic planning skills, effectively aligning technology initiatives with educational and organizational goals.
