Join Lam as our North America Travel & Employee Services Sr Manager, and help lead the strategic direction of our Travel and Employee Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing Lam's travel and Employee Services strategy, policies and operations, ensuring we have the appropriate processes, controls, systems and vendors in place to meet our employees and business needs. This role will be a part of a global team managing and controlling all aspects of travel and Employee Services operations within the compliance of company policies, internal controls, and industry standards. As part of our Travel and Employee Services organization you will help shape the future. We are seeking an experienced and adaptable leader with proven expertise in Travel and Employee Services management. This is a high-profile role, requiring experience in collaborating, partnering and communicating at all levels internally and externally. You will have experience in defining strategy and driving transformation while leading the team in the delivery of day to day operations.

The impact you'll make
  • Lead and manage a high-performing North America Travel and Employee Services team
  • Develop and implement comprehensive Travel & Employee Services strategies that align with Lam's objectives
  • Manage all aspects of our global Employee Services and card management operations, ensuring we have the appropriate policies, processes, systems and controls in place to meet our business objectives
  • Manage all travel and Employee Services supplier and vendor relationships. Responsible for oversight and optimization of these relationships to ensure they can effectively support the delivery our travel and Employee Services strategy and operations.
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance Travel and Employee Services policies, processes, operations and systems, working collaboratively with cross-functional business partners
  • Develop and maintain internal business partner relationships, enabling the effective communication and integration of travel and employee services policies and operations across the Company
  • Maintain an effective quality assurance environment ensuring that we have robust monitoring of our travel and employee services management operations in place to ensure compliance with controls and policies
  • Implement key reporting and metrics to monitor compliance, operational efficiency and quality of service

What you'll do

  • This role will be a part of a global team managing and controlling all aspects of travel and employee services operations within the compliance of company policies, internal controls, and industry standards
  • As part of the Lam Finance organization you will help shape the future. We are seeking an experienced and adaptable leader with proven expertise in global travel and employee services management
  • You will have experience in defining strategy and driving transformation while leading the team in the delivery of day-to-day operations
  • Develop and implement comprehensive Travel & Employee Services strategies that align with Lam's objectives
  • Manage all aspects of the North America travel program, ensuring effective travel operations, quality assurance and supplier management processes and systems in place to comply with industry regulations and company policies
  • Manage all travel and employee services suppliers and vendor relationships
  • Implement the best practices and innovative solutions to enhance travel and employee services policies, processes, operations and systems, working collaboratively with cross-functional business partners such as engineering, people operations, payroll, accounting, compliance, financial planning & analysis, employment tax and legal, security and others
  • Develop and maintain internal business partner relationships, enabling the effective communication and integration of travel and Employee Services policies and operations across the Company
  • Maintain an effective quality assurance environment ensuring that we have robust monitoring of our Travel and Employee Services management operations in place to ensure compliance with controls and policies
  • Implement key reporting and metrics to monitor compliance, operational efficiency and quality of service
Who we're looking for
  • Bachelor's degree in business, or related field. MBA or master's preferred but not required.
Preferred qualifications
  • This is a high-profile role, requiring experience in collaborating, partnering and communicating at all levels internally and externally
  • 12+ years of multi-national global experience, with experience in the management and delivery of Corporate Travel and Employee Services operations on a scale
  • Experience of being part of a global team
  • Change management experience and experience in iterative process and technology development and project deployment
  • Demonstrated leadership and communication skills, with proven experience influencing stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities
  • Proven track record of managing and developing a high-performance team, with experience in working within a global team
  • Proven analytical skills, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail
  • Experience with Concur Travel tools implementations and enhancements.

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
