Job Summary


The Production Supervisor plans, directs and controls activities of the manufacturing department. Schedules training, manpower and product output of single or multiple manufacturing areas. Works as a team member to coordinate employee output in order to meet production, quality goals and standards. Builds teamwork and collaborative relationships throughout the organization in support of meeting key performance indicators.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assigns and directs the work of employees to meet company/manufacturing deadlines and goals, either directly, or through subordinates
  • Ensures that manufacturing and quality standards are understood and maintained by all subordinates
  • Keeps management informed of manufacturing progress and real/potential problems
  • Keeps subordinates informed of changes in company/manufacturing procedures and ensures compliance to such. Makes sure employees are trained if necessary
  • Works with other departments in order to maintain high efficiency and output and reduce potential problems
  • Administers company rules and regulations for attendance, personal conduct, safety, housekeeping, etc.


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Management or Electronics Engineering or equivalent production experience
  • Minimum of three or more years of experience in Aerospace industry
  • Minimum of three or more years of experience in supervisory role a plus
  • Knowledge of electronic theory and design
  • Able to read blueprints, schematics, manufacturing prints, and other production related diagrams
  • Planning and organizational skills
  • SyteLine experience
  • Microsoft Office knowledge (Word/Excel/Outlook/Access)
