Your Team, Your Impact

We are seeking a Sr. Principal Product Engineer to join our Advanced Technology Infrastructure team. This role is central to pathfinding and developing next-generation test and manufacturing solutions for complex semiconductor devices. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, cross-functional leadership, and a passion for driving scalable, manufacturable, and reliable solutions from early silicon through high-volume production.

What You Can Expect

  • Lead product engineering for new test infrastructure across wafer probing, final test, and system level test.
  • Define and execute evaluation plans, design of experiments, margining, and correlation studies for complex integrated hardware solutions.
  • Drive multi-disciplinary repeatability and reproducibility analysis across mechanical, thermal, optical, and microwave domains.
  • Collaborate with design, DFT, and test teams to embed testability and manufacturability early in the roadmap.
  • Partner with automation, mechanical, and photonics subject matter experts to validate integrated solutions across wafer probers, handlers, and system platforms.
  • Interface with vendors and cross-functional teams to manage schedules, track deliverables, and ensure timely execution of engineering milestones.
  • Analyze large datasets to create executive summaries, refine test coverage, improve test yield and cost efficiency.
  • Create clear documentation for new technology, infrastructure, and engineering processes to facilitate NPI transfer.
  • Contribute to infrastructure planning and readiness reviews to ensure alignment with program timelines and manufacturing goals.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Photonics, or related fields and 15+ years of relevant experience, or Master's/PhD in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Photonics, or related fields with 10-12 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven track record in product engineering for complex ICs, with strong understanding of test infrastructure including wafer-level probing, final test and system-level test.
  • Proficient with data analysis tools such as JMP (or equivalent), correlation, and reproducibility and repeatability.
  • Familiarity with thermal, mechanical and signal integrity test challenges, including interface materials, high-power dissipation and s-parameters.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage external vendors and internal stakeholders to drive project execution.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and urgency.
