  • Contribute to and lead Roadway Safety Audits (RSAs), Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) studies and demonstration projects, crash and systemic analysis, and the development of safety countermeasures aligned with Vision Zero, local, and statewide safety goals.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate active transportation and safety with broader transportation planning, community development, institutional, and multimodal design goals.
  • Mentor junior staff in traffic engineering, multimodal and active transportation design, and safety, fostering technical growth and collaborative delivery.
  • Prepare and present clear, data-driven technical reports and visualizations to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • 11-15+ years of progressive experience in traffic engineering, planning, or safety.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) certification required.
  • Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) and/or Road Safety Professional 1 (RSP1) certifications a plus.
  • Proven experience working with state and local clients.
  • Knowledge of planning processes, Complete Streets, and multi-jurisdictional and multi-discipline project delivery.
