Summary of Role:
This program leader is responsible for overseeing Broadview's competitive solicitation and sourcing processes, including developing and implementing strategic sourcing policies, protocols, and procedures. This role is critical to ensuring that the identification, selection, and development of long-term partnerships for new products, services, and technologies through early engagement across cross functional partners, align Broadview's external partner strategy to internal product/service roadmap requirements. This role will demonstrate sound knowledge of sourcing protocols and demonstrated ability to successfully navigate through ambiguities/difficult obstacles through facts & data, evaluation of alternatives, and superior communications to lead cross-business owners and cross-functional teams through all sourcing activities, including single/sole source, and requests for proposals.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
Organizational champion responsible for coordination with business owners, executive stakeholders, subject matter experts, and legal/compliance teams to ensure organizational alignment in the strategic sourcing process. Establish and oversee Broadview's Strategic Sourcing program ensuring alignment with the standards set by Broadview, and in a timely and proactive manner. Act as subject matter expert to business owners, executive and senior leadership teams on complex sourcing matters, reporting results consistent with the program/process. Create standards/practices ensuring communication of sourcing expectations, procedures, and practices across the organization, as necessary, to ensure transparency and awareness; Keeps key stakeholders including management, vendors/partners, and applicable team members apprised of progress and status. Define and manage a structured, organized competitive solicitation process that incorporates stakeholder inputs, reviews, and strict deadlines; Ensures all necessary documents related to competitive solicitations, including justifications, budget analyses, and oversight approval documents, are appropriately, accurately, and timely completed. Assure the Strategic Sourcing Policy is current, accurate and aligned with established vendor lifecycle management and purchasing/procurement guidelines. Performs document control tasks; Creates and maintains a library of Broadview's competitive solicitations as well as sample RFP content. Perform quality control on all sourcing requests to assure consistency with our established guidelines while maintaining records for all pertinent details relevant to dispositions/reporting. Direct sourcing activity to ensure consistency across the organization in handling strategic sourcing matters to provide the best possible business owner and partner experience and minimize organizational risk. Assists with preparing and providing training and support to internal stakeholders, partners across business lines to support consistency in execution and outcomes. Work with supervisor to approve exceptions to policy when necessary to resolve sourcing issues, and appropriately document exceptions for review. Develop and lead processes that enhance the quality and approach used to capture business owner and partner feedback relative to the sourcing process. Promote trending, risk analysis and product/service/process improvement by leveraging the results of sourcing review outcomes; analyze and assess sourcing costs and develop efficiency improvement strategies. Establish escalation process and expectations as well as related training. Provide regular updates to the Manager, Vendor Management and the Vendor Management Committee as needed. Assist in proposal development, when needed. Maintaining strategic sourcing relationships and developing strong partnerships. Perform quarterly reconciliation with Accounts Payable to identify gaps and policy exceptions Works collaboratively with Vendor Risk and Information Security Governance to coordinate completion or preliminary/full due diligence on RFP finalist. support to internal business owners for their successful vendor relationship management, problem resolution, and service excellence.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of three (3) years directly related work experience Extensive experience with Broadview's products and services, and working knowledge of all operating areas Experience leading initiatives andaligning solutions to business strategy Strong written/ verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal skills, active listening skills the ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization Consultative and collaborative style; ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships both internal and external to the organization Strong project management and facilitation skills Strong analytical skills: solid decision-making capabilities coupled with the ability to analyze situations and provide recommendations for remediation Demonstrated ability to establish credibility and lead by influence, coupled with the ability to recognize, and support the organization's priorities Effective at managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines, ability to prioritize conflicting demands, organize time and resources to deliver solid and consistent results for the business and bring assignments to successful completion. High degree of business acumen Strong technical aptitude: advanced skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office to include: Word, Excel and PowerPoint. General understanding of systems and their application to advance efficiency of operation Must maintain the highest standards of confidentiality in a professional and appropriate manner. Starting Compensation: $65,990-$80,838 annually, plus a competitive benefits package. Bilingual individuals who are fluent in a second language in addition to English are highly encouraged to apply.
