Position Description

- Plan and co-ordinate with contract manufacturing partners to support production build plans to meet business requirements.

- Manage the subcontracting process and co-ordinate with QIAGEN sites and suppliers to supply necessary materials in support of the build plans.

- Order management and resolving supply availability issues.

- Develop production requirements and liaise with the internal partners in support of these plans.

- Manages the planning and execute the subcontracting ordering process with all related parties - contract manufacturing partners, raw material suppliers and internal manufacturing sites.

- Maintain inventory levels through use of MRP tools and other process to ensure the product availability and inventory goals are achieved. Prepare status and performance reports.

- Work closely with all business partners - Global Product Managers, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, R&D and Customer Service departments to understand the business needs, communicate and address issues ensuring all business objectives are met.


Position Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Science or Operations Management

- At least five years of experience in production and material planning in a manufacturing environment preferably but not limited to medical or pharmaceutical environment . Experience in contract manufacturing planning is beneficial.

- Advanced knowledge of planning principles

- Proficiency in ERP systems like SAP and relevant software (Microsoft Office etc)
