Adjunct Faculty – School of Communication

Westminster College, New Wilmington, PA. The School of Communication is seeking instructors to teach in-person, undergraduate sections of its Intro to Public Communication course. Rank: Adjunct Instructor. A Master’s degree in Communication or a related field and experience teaching college-level classes is preferred.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Prepare lessons and teach a basic public speaking course designed to help students meet several learning outcomes related to public speaking and delivering effective presentations in a variety of situations
• Provide thoughtful feedback on student assignments and presentations
• Meet with students during weekly office hours, as needed
• Submit midterm and final grades by the College’s specified deadlines
