Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Associate Dean for Assessment & Evaluation, the Assessment & Evaluation Analyst supports the implementation of curricular quality improvement processes at the Drexel College of Medicine. This individual works closely with the Director of Assessment and Evaluation in data management, analysis, and reporting. Primary activities consist of the collection and management of data from a diverse set of technology platforms, applying statistical analysis and preparing results and reports. Other responsibilities include supporting the medical education research program. Alongside with members of the Office of Assessment and Evaluation, this position contributes to the development of analytics for the College and support overall evaluation and research projects progress by conducting and preparing literature reviews for manuscript preparations.
Essential Functions
- Assist in the collection, management, analysis and reporting of curriculum quality improvement and student assessment data for diverse internal and external audiences in a useful and accurate manne
- Ensure reports are produced in an accurate, clear and concise format.
- Practice effective data management skills by creating and maintaining systems, databases, entering/coding data, and performing data extractions and merges as needed.
- Design and perform data queries and manipulation to obtain data for analyses. Prepare responses to requests for information. Generate reports as requested. Sort, duplicate, and distribute reports as appropriate.
- Enter data elements in an accurate, efficient, and productive manner.
- Prepare and develop presentations materials for academic, organizational, and lay audiences
- Assist in data collection (surveys and other) as appropriate. Work with other departments and units to obtain information or downloads for maintenance of spreadsheets and databases.
- Conduct basic quantitative statistical and/or qualitative data analysis. Assure timely and accurate data handling.
- Serve as an examination proctor for all Phase examinations (Phase 1 exams and NBME Shelf exams)
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.

- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of applicable experience
- Mastery of Excel and the whole MS Office Suite
- Knowledge of data analysis, data preparation, and data management principles
- Experience with SPSS, R, or other statistical software
- Knowledge of Basic Statistics, and data visualization
- Experience with survey design and electronic survey deployment (Qualtrics or other products)
- Candidate must be highly organized and excel in customer service
- Candidate must have a track record of managing multiple projects on time with demonstrated ability to problem solve, multi-task and grasp the big picture while being detail oriented
- Excellent written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate with a strong commitment to teamwork.

Additional Information
This position is classified as Exempt, grade K. Compensation for this grade ranges from $$ 54,630.00 to $$ 81,940 per year. Please note that the offered rate for this position typically aligns with the minimum to midrange of this grade, but it can vary based on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
