Mission: Fosters, directly and indirectly, by action, example and training, a comprehensive safety program throughout the Portland Large Parts Campus. Monitors potential health and safety conditions of the workplace; identifies problems, recommends solutions, and ensures that the on-going safety system is corrected to incorporate the changes. Develops and guides leadership and other safety professionals in a cultural journey to a better business. Primary Duties & Accountabilities: 1. Use our global database to: 2. Leads line supervision to drive safety on the production floor. 3. Serves as an advisor to safety committees at multiple locations. 4. Collaborates with supervision in the administration of the Light Duty Work Program and in the assignment of eligible employees in accordance with established practices. 5. Drives safety requirements to project managers regarding outside contractor's safety requirements. 6. Assists and advises training of: Required Skills and Qualifications: 1. 2-3 years of related safety experience 2. Required transportation with a valid Driver's License 3. Preferred Certifications or knowledge This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)). To be qualified to work in this facility, a successful applicant must be a U.S. Person, as defined in those regulations, and able to supply evidence of that qualification prior to starting work or be authorized to receive controlled information under a specific license or permission from the relevant government agency. The U.S. export control regulations define a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), and certain categories of Asylees and Refugees.
