Salary range:
The salary range for the specialist series rang is from $55,000-$194,800 (Annual). See UC salary scales for the details. Application Window Open date: July 28, 2025 Next review date: Friday, Aug 29, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Tuesday, Jul 28, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The Department of Surgery at the University of California, Irvine, anticipates openings for Junior, Assistant, Associate, and Full Specialists. Requirements - Applications are being sought from B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. degree candidates with strong laboratory research backgrounds and publication records. Interdisciplinary skills and approaches are required. This is an ongoing recruitment and positions are dependent upon extramural funding. Rank will be determined based on qualifications and experience. Initial appointments are for one year and renewal is based on availability of support. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
