Legal Billing Assistant, Part Time

Join a collaborative legal team where your expertise in e-billing is valued and developed as a part time Legal Billing Assistant 3 days per week for a period of 6 months. In this role you will gain exposure across a wide variety of business activities, and you will be primarily responsible for implementing e-billing, processing legal invoices, and expense and invoice processing via Coupa and Collaborati .
While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require 3 days a week in our office location.

What role will you play?

You will manage and streamline e-billing processes, acting as a primary contact for 10 attorneys and stakeholders regarding billing matters. Your responsibilities include preparing, reviewing, and processing complex invoices, maintaining organized records, and providing training and support on e-billing operations.
Compensation range for this position: $38-50/hr. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. What you offer

  • Ideally 3 years of billing experience required, within a law firm or financial services firm preferred
  • Previous experience collaborating with attorneys, stakeholders, and vendors to resolve billing discrepancies and maintain accurate records
  • Experience working withing Coupa and Collaborati platforms required
  • Ability to efficiently manage billing tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment, provide clear communication with stakeholders and maintaining a strong attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree required; accounting or finance degree preferred
