HEICO Repair Group Aerostructures is currently seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Component Maintenance Technician with a strong background in hands-on sheet metal and composite repairs to join our team. In this role, the Technician will be responsible for repairing aircraft structural components to meet FAA regulations and Customer Requirements. This is a hands-on position that requires precision, technical expertise and strict adherence to safety protocols. Key Responsibilities include: Performing maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) on a variety of aircraft structural components including, but not limited to, Flight Control Surfaces, Nacelles, Panels, Doors, Radomes, and Fairings. Requirements
Must have a minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in aircraft component repairs. Must be able to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings and specifications. Must be able to perform sheet metal repairs including cutting, bending, forming, riveting and fitting parts according to approved repair instructions. Must be able to perform composite repairs including carbon fiber, Kevlar and honeycomb structure repairs. Must be able to operate machinery and tools in a safe and effective manner. FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant license preferred. Prior experience in a certified Part 145 repair station preferred. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbss. Must be able to work independently and in a team environment. Ability to work in a shop environment with exposure to dust, fumes and noise. Ability to stand, bend, reach for extended periods of time. |
