Minimum Qualifications A Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Safety Management or a related field is required, plus 8 years of related experience and/or training in relevant fields. Alternatively, candidates may qualify with 12 years of related experience and/or training in lieu of a degree. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered. ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS The following work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing essential functions of this job. PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES The following physical activities described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position involves moderately diverse and moderately physical work activities. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb or balance, and talk or hear; frequently required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This position may require periodic travel up to 50% of the time within a three-state area, including overnight stays. Field training and observation are required. The role may involve work during non-traditional hours and weekends. Participation in storm response efforts is required, including deployment on short notice, extended hours, and work in challenging conditions to support restoration and safety operations. BENEFITS
