Overview

We're looking for a Financial Aid Advisor to join our team! In this role, you'll be the go-to person for students and families, helping them understand the financial aid process and find the resources they need to pay for their education.

    $20 - $24 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Guide the Way: Support students through every step of the financial aid process, ensuring they have everything they need to succeed.
  • Deliver Excellence: Provide exceptional service with compassion, clarity, and efficiency, helping students overcome any financial hurdles.
  • Solve Problems: Identify and address barriers to starting or continuing school with creative and effective solutions.
  • Educate and Empower: Explain federal aid, FAFSA, scholarships, and more to help students make informed financial decisions.
  • Collaborate for Success: Work closely with Admissions, Student Services, and other teams to enhance student satisfaction and success.


Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required; preference for candidates with some college coursework or relevant certifications.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service or sales; 2 years in Financial Aid is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Title IV: experience preferred

Skills:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with computer applications (Word, Excel, SharePoint)
