About the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs Founded in 1990, the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs is dedicated to educating the next generation of scholars and practitioners on distinct approaches to tackling real-world problems to advance the global human condition. As one of the first professional schools of international affairs situated at major technological institute, we provide comprehensive, interdisciplinary, multi-method, and flexible undergraduate and graduate social science programming at the nexus of science and technology, with special attention to strategic, political economy, and comparative political perspectives on international security, global development, and governance. The Nunn School is multidisciplinary and focuses on understanding the global context of advances in science and technology. Georgia Tech is a top-ranked public research university situated in the heart of Atlanta, a vibrant city with great economic and cultural strengths. The Institute is a member of the University System of Georgia, the Georgia Research Alliance, and the Association of American Universities. The Nunn School is a member of the Association of Professional Schools of International Affairs (APSIA). Nunn School faculty may hold joint appointments with other units across the Institute. Many Nunn School faculty conduct both sponsored and basic research with colleagues across the Institute. Job Summary
Provide learning support opportunities to students in assigned target group(s) through directing programs designed to help them excel in their academic endeavors. Services provided including tutoring, facilitating faculty interaction, and academic coaching. Responsible for setting employee goals, assessing performance, providing feedback, and making pay recommendations.
