Close Air Support Simulation Technician

Key Role:

Assist with performing capabilities and programing training task analyses for a Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) and Joint Fire Observer (JFO). Operate and design missions to support in planning, programming, developing, and producing learning objectives (DLO) mapped to the TTL effectively. Translate air, ground, maritime, space, and electronic orders of battle for the US into simulation environments. Support Combatant Commanders' Exercise initiatives and prosecute those tasks.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with Joint training and evaluation

• 5+ years of experience as an instructor

• Experience with Air-to-Air, Air-to-Ground, Electronic Combat, and Joint Operations

• Knowledge of general close air support procedures and tactics in accordance with JPUB and JFIRE

• Knowledge of Tactical Air Control Party and ASOC operations and planning processes

• Ability to travel to field exercises

• Ability to matchkinetic effectto preferred outcome

• Secret clearance

• HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience with JTACs, JFOs, and ASOC personnel

• Experience with Close Air Support operations

• TS/SCI clearance

• Bachelor's degree

• PMP or CTEP Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
