About the role

Job Description Summary:

Perform all Product Validation and Verification activities for all SYS test and SW test levels. Specify test coverage and sequence. Estimate and request resources for testing. Participate in all test reviews. Monitor execution and documentation of all tests. Track the test schedule, effort and costs. Distribute the system and software test status and information to the team management and program management. Define countermeasures if there are deviations from the System/Software Master Test Plan. Synchronize the SYS test and SW test schedule with the overall program schedule. Perform System HiL (Hardware In loop) testing using AGILE methodology. Agile methodology is a system of working in a series of sprints, with each sprint lasting two weeks. System HiL testing requires testing all ECUs (Electronic Control Units) of a vehicle variant Integrated on an HiL rack. These processes will be completed over the Vector CAN (Controlled Area Network), dSPACE Simulator (Tools for testing and calibrating electronic control units (ECU)). The systems utilized include: Integrated ECUs, Control/Model Desk, Wireshark, ECU test tool, Test rail (Managing test cases and runs) and JIRA (Defect and task management tool). Projects and/or products that will be tested are ECUs for different vehicle variants. Performance for Product Validation and Verification activities include ADAS (Advanced Drive Assist System), Gateway module and Body modules. These frameworks are integrated together as one system and perform verification and validation using integrated Hardware In Loop (HiL) simulation racks. Each ECU will have different SW (Software) and all SW releases will be tested on the racks to confirm the SW is defect free and can be released to the vehicle testing team. Reports to company headquarters in Auburn Hills, MI. Roving employee- will work at various unknown client sites throughout the U.S for up to 100% of the time. Must be willing to travel anywhere in the U.S and may be assigned to work at client sites across the U.S.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, IT/IS, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Telecommunications, Electrical or Electronics, or related field of study and five (5) years of work experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained. Must also have demonstrated experience in the following: Domains - ADAS, BCM, or Powertrain; Tools - DSPACE, Vector tools, Lauterbach, ECU Test tool or JIRA; Scripting - Python or CAPL; System testing and SW testing; Unit and module testing; Software integration testing; and Agile practices.

Salary offered for the position is: $124,800.00 - $145,600.00/year.

900 N Squirrel Rd, Suite 300, Auburn Hills, MI 48326. Reports to company headquarters in Auburn Hills, MI. Roving employee- will work at various unknown client sites throughout the U.S for up to 100% of the time. Must be willing to travel anywhere in the U.S and may be assigned to work at client sites across the U.S.
