Position Overview: The Territory Manager is responsible for driving sales of Avidity Science laboratory products and solutions within the life sciences, laboratory, and research markets across the assigned territory or region. This role focuses on expanding market presence, developing new business, and fostering strong distributor and customer relationships to achieve revenue growth.

Key Job Responsibilities:



  • Drive significant revenue growth by identifying high-potential opportunities, breaking into new accounts and markets, and aligning product solutions with customer needs while minimizing competitive losses.
  • Build, expand, and strategically manage relationships with distributor representatives, as well as new and existing customers, to maximize account penetration and market share.
  • Establish yourself as a trusted expert through mastering product knowledge, effectively differentiating our solutions from competitors, and delivering compelling value propositions.

  • Develop and execute detailed account and territory growth plans, including identifying new market opportunities, understanding customer goals, business objectives, and creating corresponding strategies to win business


  • Leveraging CRM tools to proactively manage a diverse and complex sales pipeline - from initial prospecting and lead generation through receipt of purchase order, training and ongoing account management.
  • Actively participate in conferences, industry meetings and trade shows to generate high-quality sales leads, network with key decision-makers, and increase awareness of company product lines.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Manager.


Qualifications:



  • Sales experience in a Life Sciences industry
  • Highly competitive, self starter with strong communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Biology, Life Science or related field and 2-5 years' selling experience in the life sciences, laboratory or in vivo research/vivarium industry, or a combination of both.
