Job Description:

AriensCo is on the hunt for a dynamic Regional Sales Director! In this role, you'll drive sales and service programs to expand our market presence and elevate the customer experience. You'll stay ahead of industry trends, shape pricing strategies, and lead a high-performing sales team through training, coaching, and performance management. From setting sales territories and quotas to engaging with key clients and representing AriensCo at trade events, you'll be at the forefront of our growth. This is a remote position; however, the preferred candidate would ideally reside in one of the following regions: Atlanta, Alabama, Tennessee, or North Carolina.

THE DAY TO DAY...

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals

  • Plan and direct sales and service programs to promote new markets, improve competitive position in area, and provide fast and efficient customer service; sets sales performance goals accordingly

  • Review market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates

  • Direct and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in sales; manage training and performance evaluations to develop and control sales outcome

  • Direct channel development activity and coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals

  • Assign and monitor sales territories; prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion; advise field and inside sales personnel on issues impacting sales or concerning possible techniques to improve closing rates

  • Direct product simplification and standardization to eliminate unprofitable items from sales line

  • Represent company at trade association meetings to promote product

  • Deliver sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives; meet with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals

  • Coordinate liaison between sales department and other sales related units

  • Analyze and control expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements

  • Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition

  • Recommend or approve budget, expenditures, and appropriations for research and development work

THE QUALIFICATIONS...

  • A minimum of 8 years related experience and/or training

  • Ability to lead others in a sales role

  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Use of Microsoft Dynamic CRM

  • Strong presentation and communication skills

  • Estimated 50% overnight travel required

  • Basic financial aptitude - Pricing, Margins and Profitability.

  • Knowledge of power equipment is a plus

  • Ability to properly forecast (SIOP)
