Essential Job Duties	Implement a comprehensive simulation study to understand the effects of wildlife survey design on the ability to estimate species distributions using spatial occupancy models. Contribute to a manuscript focused on survey design considerations for spatial occupancy models.

Requirements and Preferences

Work Schedule	Remote.
Other Work/Responsibilities	Assigned by supervisor as needed.
Minimum Experience/Education	Currently pursuing or recently completed a B.S. in Statistics or Data Science.
Department Required Skills	Experience using the R Statistical Programming Language for data wrangling and fitting statistical models.
Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education	Experience fitting occupancy models using the spOccupancy software package. Familiarity with GitHub.
Required License or Certification	N/A.
Valid NC Driver's License required?	No
Commercial Driver's License Required?	No
