Join us as our newest Manufacturing Support Specialist

This role will support all departments of manufacturing with administrative tasks that are key to keeping our factory operating at a high level of efficiency. This individual will potentially all members of the manufacturing team. These teams would include Fermentation/Recovery/Granulation, Maintenance, Environmental Ops, and Utilities.

In this role you'll make an impact by:

  • Issue of all SOPs, PMD's, and other quality documents.

  • Collect, organize, file and archive batch paperwork associated with regu-lar production batches, retention times and all work-in-progress.

  • Collect, organize, file and archive all other documentation as necessary (hot work permits, confined space entry, etc.).

  • Support of continual improvement processes in the Quality System.

  • Manage purchases which include the writing of purchase requisitions, assignment of account numbers, signing the purchase requisition, receiving items, and the necessary paperwork for Finance and Accounting.

  • Create blanket purchase orders where necessary.

  • Manage and maintain the inventories for office consumables.

  • Receive invoices in-house and submit data as necessary.

  • Transactions associated with production such as process order generation and release, rental activities, and others.

  • Tracking and assignment of a variety of costs to accounts.

  • Management of computer databases where required.

  • Cost control for various accounts including consumables and entertainment.

  • Assist in the shipment of equipment or materials overseas for projects, contacting representatives from shipping

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; preference given to candidates with five years of experience or formal training in a secretarial discipline at a community college or university level.

  • Strong command of English, with proficiency in composition, grammar, and spelling.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Typing speed of 50+ words per minute preferred.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of individuals.

  • Highly organized and methodical in work habits.

  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks and maintain a service-oriented approach.

  • Team-oriented with the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Enjoys working with people and brings a sense of urgency to completing tasks efficiently.

Schedule:Monday - Friday 8am to 4:30pm

Location: Franklinton, North Carolina (On-Site)

Expected salary range: $58,926 - $80,157
