MATERIALS COORDINATOR
PLYMOUTH, IN

As a member of the Customer Service team, the Materials Coordinator will be responsible foracting as liaison between plants and customers to expedite the flow of needed finished goods.

The Role:

Your work will include, but not be limited to:



  • Prepare all necessary picking, invoicing, and other required documentation for shipments to both internal and external customers in a timely manner. Interact with floor supervisor by delivering picks for processing, following up on status of shippers being completed, answering questions.
  • Analyze customer releases and evaluate stock levels which support these releases, so that we have 100% on time delivery to the customer.
  • Perform daily required monitoring of customer systems, (i.e., Ford DDL, web sites...etc.), and maintain evidence logs. Perform internal record keeping as required.
  • Send and verify ASN's for shipments that require them within the required timeframe to not adversely affect our delivery performance scores.
  • Customer YTD ship cum reconciliation is to be done and documented daily. Collect and prepare data for internal and external reports as required.
  • Maintaining the shipping window, checking in drivers
  • Understand personal and departmental roles in fulfillment of the Quality Policy.
  • Support the EH&S policies, procedures, and rules, including helping to meet EH&S goals and objectives and 5S initiatives.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Your Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma or associate's degree
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer skills, specifically Excel. Will train on internal systems.
