Senior IV&V Test Analyst with Ginnie Mae Experience

Overview:
Ampcus is seeking an experienced and versatile
Senior IV&V Test Analyst to support our mission-critical
Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) engagements for
Ginnie Mae. The ideal candidate will bring
prior familiarity with the Ginnie Mae systems landscape, a
strong background in test leadership across multiple methodologies, and the ability to contribute
immediately with minimal ramp-up, as the program is currently managing
10 12 active projects in parallel.
This is a critical role supporting a fast-paced, high-visibility federal environment where
deep domain expertise, hands-on testing, and leadership are required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform IV&V testing across multiple Ginnie Mae applications, including:
- MyGinnieMae Portal
- Pool Processing systems
- ETL pipelines, Data Warehousing, and Reporting workflows
- Mainframe and middleware systems
- Lead test planning, design, execution, and reporting for both functional and non-functional testing (e.g., regression, UAT, ETL validation, API validation, performance testing support).
- Drive end-to-end validation of complex workflows and data integrations, ensuring traceability to business and system requirements.
- Collaborate with internal and client stakeholders to facilitate effective defect management, risk assessment, and quality assurance activities.
- Work with cross-functional teams (DBAs, Developers, SMEs, Business Analysts) to validate data transformations, business rules, and reporting accuracy across various platforms.
- Utilize and manage test tools including JIRA, ALM, ServiceNow, Selenium, SOAPUI, Postman, SQL-based tools for test management and validation.
- Maintain high quality standards while balancing competing priorities across parallel testing efforts within the IV&V portfolio.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Software Testing with strong emphasis on IV&V methodologies.
- Prior experience testing Ginnie Mae systems such as MyGinnieMae Portal and Platinum Pool processes.
- Strong background in ETL/Data Warehouse testing, SQL/PL-SQL validation, and mainframe testing.
- Hands-on expertise in API testing (SOAP and REST) using SOAP UI, Postman.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and Data Visualization Tools (e.g., Tableau, MicroStrategy).
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum) and experience working in fast-paced Agile/Hybrid environments.
- Proven ability to lead UAT efforts, engage with business stakeholders, and drive alignment on testing strategy and outcomes.
- Experience using test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, ALM, ServiceNow).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and contribute effectively during peak periods with minimal training needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS/Azure certifications (current or expired is acceptable).
- Knowledge of Ginnie Mae s data landscape and reporting requirements.
- Experience with big data platforms (Spark, Hive, Redshift).
- Familiarity with IV&V best practices in federal environments.
