The salary range for this position is $173,000 - $457,200. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan (https://www.ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/_files/apm/apm-670.pdf), which provides for eligibility for additional compensation beyond this base salary. Application Window Open date: August 6, 2025 Next review date: Saturday, Sep 6, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Monday, Apr 6, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description Full time Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor faculty position in Neurosurgery at UCLA The Department of Neurosurgery at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is seeking a neurosurgeon with focus and expertise in spinal surgery. Candidates should have completed a neurosurgery residency program, as well as a formal post-residency complex spine surgery fellowship. Candidates will be expected to develop an active academic program with high-caliber research and to maintain a high- volume clinical practice. Candidates must be ABNS board certified or board eligible in neurosurgery and should have a proven record of accomplishment in academically oriented activities with a commitment to teaching and research. In addition, the candidate must have or be eligible for a California medical license. Compensation and academic title will be commensurate with experience.
