As a Marketing Coordinator on our Mountain West team, you'll play a key role in supporting DEA's business development and marketing efforts across transportation, water and environment, energy, land development, marine services, and surveying and geomatics.
The Corporate Marketing team is seeking a Marketing Coordinator in Spokane, WA; Boise, ID; or Salt Lake City, UT.
This is a progressive role working as part of our corporate marketing team to support the business development and marketing process. The ideal candidate is a highly organized and motivated team player who enjoys strategy, collaboration, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment. You will work directly with other experienced marketers and business development professionals to manage proposals, build client relationships, and assemble compelling marketing materials.
What You'll Do
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide client-focused marketing support within the Mountain West region for both public and private clients
- Coordinate with marketers and business development staff to build and support client relationships and proposal development
- Conduct market research to understand client and market needs
- Lead the production of proposals, statements of qualifications (SOQs), and collateral materials in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Help develop and manage a solid pipeline of qualified pursuits in collaboration with internal teams
- Maintain CRM (client relationship management) data, including marketing and client contact databases
- Support client teams in partnership with client leaders
- Collaborate with the shared marketing services team to support additional regions as needed
- Lead strategic activities including trade show preparation, award submittals, and branded materials for conferences
- Assist with digital marketing content, including social media and website updates
What You Bring
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field (or equivalent)
- Up to 3 years of experience in professional marketing services
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat, and a CRM database
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with a keen graphics aptitude
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and represent DEA across client interactions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry
- Familiarity with Mountain West clients and markets
- Experience using Deltek Vision CRM
- Exposure to alternative project delivery methods such as Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build, GCCM/CMGC, and Public-Private Partnerships (P3)

- Potential salary range: $55,000 - $75,000
The posted salary range represents the typical range for this position and is provided in accordance with applicable state and local transparency laws. Actual compensation will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
