The Opportunity

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Daytona Beach Campus is seeking passionate and certified Personal Trainers to join our Eagle Fitness Center Team. This role offers the opportunity to help shape the physical health and wellness of our students, faculty, and staff through individualized fitness programs - personal training

Qualifications

Required Education and Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid nationally accredited (NCCA-approved) Personal Training Certification (NASM, AFAA, ACE, ACSM, NCSF, NSCA, NETA, etc.
  • Ability to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to each scheduled personal training appointment
  • Effective time and schedule management skills
  • Ability to maintain a consistent work schedule
  • Ability to maintain a minimum of three active clients (when demand permits)
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to abide by all policies and procedures of the Fitness Center
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift at least 45 pounds overhead
  • Ability to maintain current Personal Training Certification
  • Ability to effectively encourage personal training session sales
  • Proficiency in utilizing personal training scheduling and tracking software to manage client appointments and monitor session progress
