The Marketing Department at the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management is seeking applications for a faculty position in the department with a strong preference for an Assistant Professor of Marketing - Consumer Behavior. The appointment would have a start date of Fall 2026.

Qualifications

All candidates must at minimum have a doctoral degree in Marketing (or related discipline) in hand or near completion by the start date. Candidates must be able to demonstrate authorization to work in the United States at the University of Minnesota by the start date. Successful candidates will have a demonstrated potential for publishing research in top-tier journals, and evidence suggesting the capability of successful teaching. The candidate should also be willing to contribute to Marketing Department activities in rank-appropriate ways.

Minnesota Carlson exists at the intersection of a major research university and a vibrant business community, thus fostering both excellence in teaching and research. The school consists of several cluster areas, each of which is associated with a specific academic department.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $185,000 - $210,000 depending on education/qualifications/experience

Time Appointment Category: 100% Appointment
