Shift: 1st, (5am-1pm)
Pay: $18/hr (Based on Experience)
Job Description:
We are hiring a Batch Processing Setup Operator to join our Distribution Center team. This role is vital to preparing and assembling ingredients for the blending department, ensuring smooth production for the next day. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience, be comfortable operating forklifts and scanner guns, and possess strong attention to detail when reading batch tickets and handling materials.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately read and interpret batch tickets, including lot numbers, weights (partial and whole units), substitutions, and allergen information.
  • Stage and prepare all necessary ingredients and materials for the blending department's daily production.
  • Operate forklifts to move materials as needed; sit-down forklift experience preferred but not required (training available).
  • Use RF scanner guns to verify and track materials during partial unit processing.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards within the raw material warehouse, including utensil sanitation through a three-step wash process.
  • Identify and report any extraneous materials or safety concerns promptly.
  • Perform repetitive lifting up to 45-50 lbs unassisted; heavy lifting (100 lb bags) is completed by teams of two.
Qualifications:
  • Previous warehouse experience strongly preferred.
  • Forklift operation skills a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Comfortable with barcode scanning technology and basic math for handling partial units.
  • Strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and batch ticket information accurately.
