As part of a hardworking team of policy experts, you will support Blue Origin's strategic legislative priorities. This role reports to the Vice President of Government Relations and is responsible for integrating international issues into Blue Origin government relations priorities while also learning and supporting the civil, national security and regulatory space policy work. The Government Relations team interfaces with national and local legislative bodies and executive agencies as well as company leadership, business units, communications, legal, and sales teams. This role with support international aspects of policy development, regulatory reform and compliance, and partnership building with US and international stakeholders. Responsibilities include monitoring legislation, crafting messaging and materials and representing Blue Origin and its policy interests with external and internal stakeholders. This person support - USG engagements, managing external consultants, engaging our nationwide supplier base, and supporting strategy for the Blue Origin Political Action Committee. Strong relationships with relevant congressional stakeholders, and experience leading and implementing legislative strategy are required for this position. We are looking for someone to apply their expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to usher in a new era of safe and affordable launch and in-space capabilities for USG customers. Passion for our mission and vision is required. The Manager of Government Relations will primarily support the Vice President, Government Relations by integrating international issues into Blue Origin government relations priorities and objectives, while being informed by the government relations team's domestic work. They will further support other sales directors focused on international agencies and commercial customers, international partnerships leads, business unit leaders, and strategy leaders both with expertise and in moving the needle in international forums on issues of interest.
