The Role:

We are looking for a Global Product Safety Senior Leader who will manage and standardize the Product Safety operational requirements to ensure that all Pharmaceutical Roquette sites comply with the related regulations and standards to meet the customers' expectations.

The objective of the mission is to improve Product safety compliance of our assets and strengthen skills and competencies our internal resources, enhance cross-fertilization and embed the best practices.

This position is located in our Geneva, IL or Midland, MI offices.

Compensation:

The current salary range for this role is estimated to be $139,365 to $188,600 In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation. The specific compensation offered to a candidate will be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

What You'll Do:

  • Guarantee the Customer satisfaction and ensure the Quality performances by managing the implementation of the Product Safety policy and related process and tools

  • Define, develop and deploy the Roquette Product Safety standards and evaluate the sites compliance

  • Harmonize on site Tools/standards in line with the Global Product Safety guidelines in all Roquette Plants (both BGs)

  • Anticipate the customer's expectations and improve our standards by attending specific events/conferences and working closely with Quality Customer Service

  • Identify & share internal & external best practices to improve the standardization level

  • Coordinate working groups related to Product Safety topics including the regulatory aspects

  • Train and support regional & local teams in order to empower people and to embed in the Product Safety culture

  • Bring expertise and support the local teams to solve Product Safety issues

  • Contribute to the Operational Quality strategy and objectives

What You'll Need:

Education :

  • Master's degree in chemistry, Biochemistry, Process, Pharma

Experience :

  • 10 to 15 years' experience in Quality and/or strong sensitivity to quality aspects in Pharma industry is a must

  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical standards (ICH Q7 guidelines for example, IPEC guidelines)

  • Strong knowledge in Product Safety principles / referential: ISO 22000 - FSSC 22000

  • Good knowledge of Quality management systems

  • Ability to interact at management level and at shop floor level as well.

  • A major interest in analyzing and understanding situation and propose preventive or corrective action plan to move forward Product Safety topics.

  • A major interest in sharing knowledge

  • Performance oriented

Work Environment

  • This role spends approximately 50% of the time in an office environment and 50% of the time in the plant environment.

Position Type

  • This is a full-time position.

Business Travel:

  • Work location is in the US, close to one of our facilities

  • Travel to other sites in America is required regularly.

  • Occasional international travel may be expected (Brazil/Canada and Europe).
