Registered Nurse position: Overview The Direct Care Registered Nurse - Home Health and Hospice develops, implements, and evaluates plans of care for specific patient populations. Manages a patient case load through coordination and collaboration with multidisciplinary team members to facilitate integrated and comprehensive care. Possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas. Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire. Hospice in Harrisonburg is seeking a Clinical Supervisor Responsible for coordinating patient care resources to meet the clinical needs of patients. The Clinical Supervisor oversees a multidisciplinary team to facilitate appropriate and efficient clinical care. Serves as a resource to clinical staff, physicians, and the public. Makes administrative decisions (in consultation with Area Administrator or Patient Care Manager) regarding potential or actual problematic situations involving the agency or staff. Assists with program and staff development, program implementation and policy/procedure development and compliance. Engages in talent retention strategies for the area(s) of responsibility.
