Loan Specialist (Customer Support Center)
Full-Time | Rotating Saturdays | No Sundays!

We're seeking a Loan Specialist to join our centralized Customer Support Center in San Antonio, TX. In this call center role, you'll provide customer service and collections support for both our call center and branch locations. You'll play a vital role in processing loans, servicing accounts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.

What You'll Do:

• Process loan applications and verify loan documents accurately and efficiently
• Contact customers to discuss payments, resolve delinquencies, and set up payment arrangements
• Execute collection calls on past due accounts and use company tools to locate customers when needed
• Close loans and explain terms clearly to customers
• Facilitate loan extensions, modifications, and payment schedules
• Maintain up-to-date records, including payment entries and collection notes
• Promote loan products and services to current and prospective customers
• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws and company policies

Your Schedule:

• Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Varied shifts based on business needs)
• Saturday Rotation: 8:30 AM - 1:00 PM
• No Sundays!
• Some overtime may be required
• 4-week paid training Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

What You'll Bring:

• 1+ year of customer service experience (any industry)
• 1+ year of call center experience
• 6+ months of collections experience preferred
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in basic math and computer systems (Microsoft Office, Windows/Mac, etc.)
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work independently
• A friendly, professional phone presence with the ability to build rapport quickly
• Positive attitude and collaborative spirit
