Under the general direction of the Senior Quality Management Analyst, the IT Manager, or the Director; develops and documents test strategy, test plans, and test cases to test the software systems of moderate to high complexity to ensure that functional and nonfunctional requirements of the system are satisfied including compliance-related requirements. Ensure tasks conform to specifications/processes and standardized best practices. Documents and works to resolve all problems. Reports progress on problem resolution to management. Devises improvements to current procedures and develops models of possible future configurations. Will regularly provide guidance and training to less experienced teammates. This position is part of the IT team that is accountable for production support (including on-call duties in a 24x7 environment) as well as new projects. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree required. 3+ years of experience in managing complete Software Testing Life cycle (STLC), including all phases of testing including unit testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, load testing, performance testing, stress testing etc., required; experience in a Healthcare setting preferred. 2+ years of experience in developing testing estimates for assigned work required. 2+ years of experience using automated test scripts required. 1 year of experience with Microsoft SharePoint, TFS, Web, and SQL Server or like technologies preferred. 1 year of hands-on experience with setup, configuration and maintenance of automated testing tools such as Microsoft Test Manager, HP Quality Center, Test Director, or similar preferred. Proven ability to identify and create test scenarios for possible error and boundary conditions. Ability to be flexible, detail oriented and work analytically in a problem-solving environment. Good communication, written and oral, and interpersonal skills. Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills. Experience in operating within an Agile framework. Exposure to HIPAA and other data and security requirements. Proven ability to work independently and as a team member. Additional Information
