Role Overview:
The Inventory Coordinator will work with maintenance schedules and material requirements at designated EDPR North America wind power plants. You will coordinate with Procurement and members of Central Maintenance Team to ensure all necessary contracts, tools, and tracking methods are in place prior to, and after EOW in order to meet maintenance and operational requirements.
Main responsibilities:
- Maintain oversight and planning of maintenance activities on assigned self-performing site(s)
- Ensure parts are available for scheduled maintenance activities
- Receive materials delivered to facility
- Confirm materials received match purchase orders and then perform the goods receipt for the materials
- Expedite materials needed to replenish inventory and/or turbine repair by working directly with vendors
- Work in the SAP Plant Maintenance module as needed
- Lead coordination with the Operations Manager and Lead Technician to develop planned maintenance schedule and procedures for self-performing wind power plants
- Optimize planned maintenance with wind, weather, and reactive maintenance activities
- Coordinate high voltage maintenance with Site Operations Manager to ensure turbine work can continue as needed
- Identify and procure any special tooling required for maintenance
- Maintain inventory, inspection, and calibration of all tooling as required
- Assist with Request for Proposal process for procurement of all site services that are anticipated for major repairs and retrofits
- Evaluate business value of additional system features such as bar-coding and mobile access applications
- Lead all warehouse inventory management efforts
- Develop and distribute reports as necessary to support maintenance efforts
- Perform internal routine inventory counts as necessary to gauge effectiveness of the parts strategy and remove/add parts as necessary

Minimum Requirements:
- Technical Bachelor's degree and/or an equivalent combination of training and related work experience
- Minimum of 3 years in a maintenance or operations management role using a computerized maintenance management system (e.g., SAP, Maximo, Datastream)
- Strong knowledge of operation and configuration of computerized maintenance management systems
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and Project software suites and of financial models, budgeting, and cost-benefit analysis
- Proficient operating motorized forklift and material handling equipment

- Lifting: Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Vision/Hearing: Ability to understand a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form
- Safety: Ability to understand and communicate safety precautions when necessary
