Main responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly revenue and expense accruals estimates and cash received reports for Accounting and provide support for any inquiries;
- Produce monthly invoices and reconcile settlement discrepancies with various ISOs and off-takers following contractual languages;
- Prepare various ad hoc analyses (historical and "what-if" forward-looking) and conduct research on ISO tariffs and contracts as needed;
- Produce various settlements data reporting for internal and external stakeholders;
- Perform settlements activities such as scheduling and transferring renewable energy credits as needed;
- Support the development of standard business processes and optimization of existing processes;
- Support the development of tools and processes and the tracking of obligations under the major contracts of an operating wind farm (e.g., PPA, Turbine O&M, investors, and Tax Equity);
- Support Asset Operations staff in maintaining and strengthening relationships with off-takers, ISOs, and other stakeholders critical to the success of the company's operations;
- Collaborate with accounting regarding A/R and A/P requests associated with settlements;
- Interface heavily with internal and external stakeholders in a professional and collaborative manner;
- Additional duties as required.
Role Overview:
The Settlement Associate will provide settlement support to the operations group for assets in ongoing operations and ensure accurate processing of settlements, landowner payments, and various other activities to support the operational obligations of the company.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in an analytical field such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or Accounting, or an equivalent combination of training and experience
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Understanding of Microsoft products and/or complementing products preferred.
- Competency in Analytical Problem Solving, Strong Communication, Customer/Partner Relationships, and Technology Expertise preferred

- Ability to quantitatively analyze data derived from different software platforms, present results visually and qualitatively
- Persistence needed to follow through and achieve results

- Experience with SQL Server and database structures preferred
Physical demands & working conditions:
- Sitting/Standing/Flexibility: Ability to stand and sit for 8 or more hours when in an office environment
- Walking: Ability to walk .5 to 2 miles per day, including across unpaved and rough surfaces when on project sites.
- Speech/Reading: Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently and deliver a variety of instructions furnished in written verbal, diagram, or scheduled form
- Lifting: Ability to lift items weighing up to 10 pounds
- Vision/Hearing: Ability to understand a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form
