Mission for Position

As a chiropractor, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with musculoskeletal and extremity disorders, focusing on spinal alignment and overall health. This role involves using manual adjustment techniques and non-force methods such as the activator, traction, and Thompson drop techniques. Committed to Lakewood's mission of providing personal, quality care for a lifetime, the chiropractor will also order x-rays and MRI exams, offer patient education, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, individualized care.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients' health and medical histories.
• Diagnose musculoskeletal conditions and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
• Use a variety of adjustment and manipulation techniques to treat spinal, extremity and musculoskeletal issues.
• Provide rehabilitative exercises, lifestyle, and additional nutritional advice to support patient care.
• Maintain detailed patient records, including progress notes, treatment plans and functional outcomes goals.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to optimize patient care.
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare records following insurance regulations and standards.

Position Type

• This is a full-time position
• Clinic hours: Monday-Friday (9:00am-5:00pm)

Qualifications

• Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited chiropractic college.
• Valid state license to practice chiropractic care in Minnesota

Ideal Candidate

• Has experience in specialized disciplines such as sports chiropractic, pediatric chiropractic, and/or geriatric care
• Is familiar working with MVA and auto cases
• Navigates management of complex cases and working alongside the medical profession with ease
• Proficiently uses EHR software for patient records
• Strong understanding of musculoskeletal and nervous system anatomy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to develop and carry out personalized treatment plans
• Commitment to continuing education and professional development and in good board standing
