We have an opportunity for a Lead Materials Coordinator in our Lawrenceville, Georgia location. The ideal candidate will oversee inventory of products, parts, and materials to support internal departments. This is a hands-on role that also provides guidance to other Material Coordinators and reports to the Warehouse Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning, organizing, and directing the warehouse operations as well as ensuring inventory levels are maintained and orders are fulfilled.
  • Instill discipline in the Materials Handling processes (Receiving/Put away/Picking/Kitting).
  • Provide the Warehouse Manager with feedback on performance, productivity and training when necessary.
  • Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including WO closure, Receiving and cycle counts and adjustments.
  • Create and maintain shortage report and ensure it is communicated to the appropriate parties.
  • Assists with the daily cycle counts and research of material discrepancies.
  • Assists with countermeasures to reduce shortage or overages within the picking process.
  • Verifies all transactions are correct and processed in a timely manner in the ERP system.
  • Responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy with a goal of >95% accuracy.
  • Assist the Warehouse Manager with reviewing and updating procedures and work

    instructions in relation to materials handling and inventory control.
  • Maintain the necessary files and documentation that supports Elma's ISO audit

    standards for assigned area.



Skills & Abilities:

  • Reading, writing and basic math skills.
  • PC literate with solid experience in inventory management or warehouse management systems, proficient keyboard skills, MS Word, Excel, and email
  • Forklift certification mandatory (can be trained by ELMA)
  • Experience in use of barcode scanners is preferred but not compulsory



Education:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
