*Description:* The Home Loan Specialist is an entry-level role supporting various mortgage channels, with a focus on loan closing operations. This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient processes that align with business goals and customer service standards.
*Responsibilities:* * Perform routine data entry and validation tasks * Initiate third-party orders (e.g., title, appraisal, hazard insurance, flood certification, credit reports) * Review and validate loan documents for accuracy and completeness * Handle routine communications via phone, email, and chat * Monitor work queues and intervene as needed to maintain workflow * Support loan closing and funding processes * Perform other related duties as assigned * Demonstrate behaviors aligned with the organization's culture and values *Required Skills:* * Customer service * Data entry * Administrative support * Loan operations and mortgage processing * Banking or financial services experience * Familiarity with Encompass or similar loan origination systems * Loan closing and funding experience * Understanding of TRID regulations * Title experience is a plus *Qualifications:* * Associate's degree or equivalent work experience * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite * General understanding of applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations * Prior experience in financial services or mortgage industry preferred *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
