Your Opportunity as the Security Team Lead The Regional Security Team Leader coordinates all security related activities for the assigned campus locations in accordance with the Corporate Security Vision & Mission Statement. Responsible for working with contract security leadership to ensure post orders are followed and proper coverage is maintained. In addition, the Team Leader is responsible for overseeing operational spend. This position maintains knowledge and monitors compliance with all security posts/operations and through leadership by example encourages the highest level of security/customer service performance. The Regional Team Leader will assist/manage special projects or security details that may require overnight travel. This position also performs all other responsibilities as directed or assigned by the Corporate Security Manager. Location: Buffalo, NY In this role you will:
Responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the security function are performed in a diligent and professional manner (access control, badging, key control, video management, post orders, patrols, daily activity reports, incidents, emergency response - medical, fire alarms) by working with contract security leadership. Manage overall physical security operations for assigned regional locations. Travel to assigned locations to conduct site assessments and check-ins on a quarterly basis. Work with contract security personnel leadership to coordinate training. Work closely with the plant leadership team to ensure security concerns are met. Coordinate with contract security management to ensure daily, weekly, monthly shift schedules to ensure operational needs met. Provide superior customer service and maintain the highest standards of professionalism. Develop and conduct training and/or presentations to cross-functional departments. Assist plant operations with security related tasks or projects. Report to and assist Corporate Security Manager with special assignments, including executive protection details or special event security.

State Certified Peace Officer Training Prior law enforcement, fire, EMS, or military experience Experience managing access control and video management systems Possess strong leadership skills. Strong customer service skills. Detail oriented, takes initiative, and is adaptable to dynamic situations. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities. Strong problem solving and writing skills. Ability to obtain state specific certification for firearms. Good knowledge of PC applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Able to work days, nights, weekends, and/or holidays. Ability to travel to nearby Company facilities (25% - 50%).
